Social policy

As well as offering advice to individuals, we aim to influence the development of local policies that affect people's lives. CAB uses its experience of the problems experienced by its clients to identify issues to raise with policy makers and to make them aware of trends in the concerns of local individuals.

We are active participants in local consultation groups and discussion forums as well as having direct contact with various States Departments and independent organisations on specific issues of the day.

We raise public awareness of issues of current concern through local media and by giving talks to community groups and schools.
