Guernsey Citizens Advice Bureau
Every CAB is a local charity that is regulated by national Citizens Advice.
We undergo regular inspection of the quality of our advice and on the standard of our policies and procedures
CAB Aims and Principles
The Citizens Advice Service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to anyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
The service aimsto provide the advice people need for the problems they faceto improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives
Free
We make no charge for any of our services.
Independent
Because we are independent, we are able to give impartial advice to all clients and to take up any issue on behalf of individuals or groups.
Confidential
Nothing learned from clients at the Bureau including the fact of their visit will be passed on to anyone outside the service without their express permission.
Impartial
Our advice and help will be given to clients without any preconceived attitudes on the part of the bureau regardless of race, gender, disability or sexuality.
